Her attitude is also a bit grating, but she's supposed to be a sheltered teenager so it makes sense to the character, plus you can call her out on it. Once you get access to her full range of powers (going through her questline) she can be very strong, but her combat abilities are all tweakable via dialogue. Mirai - The Girl with the Dragon Heart: Good quest, great voiceacting, lore friendliness ranges from very to not at all (one of the sidequests is particularly bad, but the main plot for her fits in nicely). Slight downsides in that one of the quest bosses doesn't scale well and is incredibly overpowered for the early game, there is some focus on sexual stuff (though mostly other NPCs towards her, not her towards you, your romance with her is entirely optional), and some of the background is done through one of the longest books I've ever seen in an Elder Scrolls game (it's a good book, but is very long). Her questline is very good with multiple endings, solid voice acting (with two choices of actress even), fairly lore-friendly. M'rissi's Tails of Troubles: One of my personal favorites. In particular for female followers Anum-La and Zora Fair-Child are very good in my opinion. Some of them are 'super' followers that have commentary for large amounts of quests and locations. Dozens of new NPCs with deep dialogue trees, new quests, and some great followers. Interesting NPCs: There's a lot more here than just female followers, but the content is fantastic, and very lore-friendly.
